Chicago Infinity is committed to creating access, opportunity, and exposure for youth in underserved communities through sports, mentorship, and real-world experiences that prepare them for life beyond the gym.
Founder/CEO
Ashley Garrett is the visionary behind Chicago Infinity, a program she created from her own passion for athletics and her desire to give back to the community that raised her. As a former dancer, athlete, coach, and leader, Ashley understands the impact that structured programs can have on a young person’s confidence and future.
She built Chicago Infinity to be a safe, empowering space where athletes are pushed to grow, supported through challenges, and given real opportunities to perform and shine. Her mission is simple: to create an environment where every athlete feels seen, valued, and capable of becoming their best self.
In addition to leading Chicago Infinity, Ashley actively works to expand opportunities for youth by building relationships with larger nonprofit organizations, local schools, park districts, and government officials across Chicago. Through these partnerships, she continues to grow the program’s reach and impact, creating more access, visibility, and resources for the communities she serves.
Our Team
A passionate cheer coach with 8 years of experience as an athlete and 4 years of coaching mini, junior, and middle school teams. She focuses on building confident, disciplined athletes while creating a fun, supportive, and high-energy team culture. For Coach Maya, cheerleading is more than a sport—it’s about growth, leadership, and self-belief.
A driven coach with a strong background in cheerleading and dance. She has been involved in cheer since a young age, serving as a team captain and choreographing routines, while also gaining experience in both school and competitive cheer.
In addition to cheer, Anaya has trained in praise and creative dance, developing strong performance skills and technique. She brings energy, leadership, and a love for helping athletes grow in confidence and performance.
Passionate about dance specifically majorette since the age of 8. She entered high school and expanded her experience by joining the cheer team, where she spent her first 2 years competing on the competitive team and cheering at games. Junior and senior years, she returned to dancing and joined the majorette team, continuing to develop performance skills and stage presence. Kayla's background in both cheer and dance has helped her grow as a dedicated, open minded/versatile performer and teammate.
Basketball coach
With over 12 years of training in hip hop and learning to navigate the Chicago Dance industry he became a well-versed dancer, learning from various programs such as The Talented Artist Foundation, Forward Momentum Chicago and Mayfair school of performing arts, these experiences not only enhanced his dance skills but also instilled in him a deep appreciation for the power of teaching dance to the youth of Chicago.
Being a part of the Chicago Dance community provided Lei’Sean with invaluable lessons in structure and leadership. Currently, Lei’Sean has served 5 years under the Bulls Entertainment brand and worked as team captain of the 312 Crew for 3 years.
He firmly believes in the potential of today's youth to change the world through the power of song and dance. His vision is to create spaces where young people can learn, grow, and express themselves unapologetically through the arts. Through his work, Lei’Sean continues to be a beacon of inspiration, showing young people that they can achieve their dreams and make a difference in the world. His dedication to teaching and nurturing the next generation ensures that his impact will be felt for years to come.
Esmeralda is Chicago Infinity’s Director of Marketing & Social Media Chair. She creates all content, ads, event planning, outreach, and works with directors to formulate strategic plans for program growth.
